Cape Gazette faces competition down under

June 15, 2019

Rehoboth Beach residents Patricia and Roger Truitt pause to compare Gazettes in a lavender garden in Port Arthur, Tasmania, Australia.

In March, the Truitts cruised from Auckland down the east coast of New Zealand, making numerous stops to learn about the Kiwis culture and to experience the natural beauty of both the north and south islands. Their cruise ship then sailed through the breathtaking Milford Sound before crossing the Tasman Sea to Melbourne and Tasmania with disembarkation in Sydney.

While in Tasmania, they also visited the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary where kangaroos, koala bears, wombats, emus and Tasmanian devils are rescued and can be observed up close.

The Truitts found the Tasman Gazette quite interesting, but no other paper compares to the Cape Gazette!
