Cape Gazette reader completes solo journey through South America

Donna Dolce of the Independence community in Millsboro recently completed a three-week solo journey through South America. She snorkeled in the Galapagos Islands, hiked to the top of Pichincha Volcano in Quito, Ecuador, explored the Amazon, Lake Titicaca, and Machu Picchu in Peru, and culminated her trip with a stop in La Paz, Bolivia. Traveling with the Cape Gazette, she had time to browse the latest happenings back home before climbing the many steps of Machu Picchu.
