Cape Gazette travels to O’ahu & Hawaii after being the highest bidder at Celebrity Chefs’ Beach Brunch live auction

Rick and Ruth Ann Dressel of Rehoboth Beach recently visited O’ahu & Hawaii. “Our Waikiki trip began 10/1/2017 at the Celebrity Chef’s Beach Brunch where during the live auction, Ruth Ann kept bidding until all others dropped out from arm fatigue,” said Rick. “In 8 days, we visited Pearl Harbor and toured O’ahu; flew to Hawai’i and saw the Kilauea volcano, ancient lava fields, black sand beaches and the macadamia plantation, and ate like islanders at a lively luau in Paradise Cove. We enjoyed 5 days of downpours, 80-degree weather and a week of jetlag upon returning. Thanks to the Ashton Group for the tickets to the brunch and David at Accent on Travel for helping plan the trip. Next, Alaska in July with the family for our 65th birthdays. GO Eagles!”
