Cape Gazette visits the Kingdom of Spain

October 7, 2017

Bill and Susie Lane of Harbeson recently traveled to Spain. They enjoyed visiting Barcelona and Madrid. Here they are pictured in front of Plaza de España in Madrid. According to Wikipedia, Plaza de España (Spanish for Spain Square) is a large square and a popular tourist destination at the western end of the Gran Vía. It features a monument to Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra and is adjacent to two of Madrid’s most prominent skyscrapers. Additionally, the Palacio Real (Royal Palace) is only a short walk south from the plaza.
