Cape Gazette visits one of the top 11 food museums of the world

August 18, 2017

A recent trip to Prince Edward Island, Canada led these Gazette readers to the Canadian Potato Museum, "Home of World Famous Prince Edward Island Potatoes." The museum is one of the top 11 food museums in the world. Although this is a popular place, the island is most famous for its fictional redheaded orphan, Anne of Green Gables.

Pictured from (l to r) are Nancy Sakaduski, Joe Sakaduski and Cindy Myers in front of the huge potato that stands at the entrance to the museum. They enjoyed taking a moment to catch up on local news from back home by reading Sussex County's most famous paper!
