The 2020 Andrea Chomo Smith Memorial Nursing Scholarship has been awarded to Teaghan Van Brunt of Lewes.
Teaghan will be entering the University of Delaware in the coordinated nursing program with Beebe Healthcare’s Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing.
This scholarship is presented to honor the memory of Andrea Smith, a dedicated nurse whose career took her from the Army hospital in Danang, Vietnam, to the trauma unit at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Virginia before she retired to the Sawgrass North community near Rehoboth Beach.
