Cape Henlopen Elks donate $2,500 to Run, White & Blue 5K
Proceeds go to Delaware Tech scholarships for veterans

Cape Henlopen Elks Lodge 2540 in Lewes recently presented Delaware Technical Community College with a $2,500 donation for the annual Run, White & Blue 5K, set for 6 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 9.
Delaware Tech’s Run, White & Blue 5K fundraiser supports scholarships for veteran and first responder students. It takes place every year on the Thursday evening closest to Sept. 11, in honor of Patriot Day.
