Cape Henlopen Senior Center offers virtual programs

To acquaint members with some of the new guidelines and adjustments programs as it prepares for reopening, Cape Henlopen Senior Center has developed a virtual weekly activity schedule.

Clients will use the Zoom App on their home computers. For information on how to set this up, contact the center at 302-227-2055. 

Participants are asked to check in 10 minutes prior to start time for each class or program.

The newly established schedule follows.

Monday: Sit and get fit with instructor Iris Mancuso, 9 to 10 a.m.; line dancing with instructor Marian Fetherolf, 11 to 11:45 a.m.

Wednesday: Arthritis exercise with instructor Ellen Coven, 9 to 10 a.m.; penny bingo, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Thursday: Yoga with instructor Iris Mancuso from 9 to 10 a.m. 

Friday: Sit and get fit with instructor Iris Mancuso, 9 to 10 a.m.; tai chi with instructor Sharon Downs, 11 to 11:45 a.m.

The center’s Coach Richard Kaplan will give special presentations on a variety of topics to inform, inspire and entertain at 9 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 9, and Tuesday, Aug, 25.
