June 30, 2021
Cape High freshman Sara Dawson continues to excel in the business arena, picking up a first-place win in intermediate word processing in the Business Professionals of America’s National Leadership Conference.
The virtual contest was open at the national level to all BPA student members; Sara competed online in the assessment evaluating intermediate skills in word processing and document production.
As vice president of Mariner Middle’s BPA club in 2020, Sara earned the BPA Ambassador Award and was one of only two middle school students to receive the President’s Volunteer Service Award at BPA’s virtual National Conference; her classmate Morgan Newcomb also received the award.
