Sussex likely to dodge major winter storm this weekend

Temperatures in the Cape Region have not gone above freezing for more than a week, resulting in ice buildup in the Lewes-Rehoboth Canal and Delaware Bay.
The cold weather will continue through the weekend, as the forecast calls for temperatures in the mid- to high 20s, with possible snow Saturday and Sunday.
Sussex County is expected to dodge another major winter storm, which is tracking to stay mostly offshore.
