The Cape boys' swim team won its first meet of the season Dec. 17, defeating Stephen Decatur 91-79.
Alex Hochrein was a double winner in the 50 freestyle in 24.28 and 100 freestyle in 55.48.
Jack Weeks won the 200 individual medley in 2:05.62 and the 100 butterfly in 54.32. Weeks also anchored the winning 200 freestyle relay of Hochrein, Will Geppert, Erik Stancofski and Weeks in 1:41.38.
Michael Schrock won the 200 freestyle in 2:11.61.
The Cape boys and girls will host Dover Tuesday, Dec. 22.
The Cape girls notched their 43rd straight dual-meet win, handling a serious challenge from Stephen Decatur before winning 98-72.
Molly Weeks won the 200 freestyle in 2:11.21 and the 500 freestyle in 5:52.78.
Sarah Hyde won the 200 individual medley in 2:26.09 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:18.81.
Amelia Nigh-Johnson won the 50 freestyle in 26.55 and the 100 butterfly in 1:03 .50.
Sarah Rambo won the 100 freestyle in 59.19 and the 100 backstroke in 1:07.03.
Cape won the 200 medley relay with a team of Madelyn McGreevy, Hyde, Sarah Spicer and Weeks in 2:06.42 and the 200 free relay with Nigh-Johnson, McGreevy, Devon Warner and Rambo in 1:53.74.
Cape’s big four of Weeks, Hyde, Nigh-Johnson and Rambo are all juniors and accounted for eight individual wins, and each swam on a winning relay team.
