Cape Water Taxi cuts ribbon on new season

Cape Water Taxi cut the ribbon at a ceremony sponsored by the Lewes Chamber of Commerce May 16. Cape Water Taxi had a busy season last year and is anticipating more business this summer with the soon to be added second vessel with a capacity of at least 75 people.

Cape Water Taxi offers several different trips in addition to the water taxi service. They offer eco tours, sunset cruises, to the bay and back tour, Indian River cruise, a kids camp and charters. Cape Water Taxi’s taxi service from Lewes to Dewey Beach, runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday, every weekend from June through September, weather permitting. Reservations are accepted and recommended.
