Coach Chris Mattioni: “I would say we survived Milford. It was much closer than expected. Some guys wrestled very well, some underperformed. We have to work on consistency in our performances. Coming off a tough weekend of competition, we were a little banged up. As we get healthy again, I expect our performances to improve. Jack Hudson had a nice performance. He continues to listen and work hard in the practice room. Cale Baker, Austin Guerrieri, Grayson Davis and Nick Walker continue to wrestle at high levels and will be the key to the success for the team. Tripp Gannon had a great weekend and wrestled very well for the most part. He made one mistake at the end of the match last night and wound up being put to his back to lose a close match.”
