Carrie Lingo and Michael Murray Padgett surprise guests with wedding ceremony

Carrie Elizabeth Lingo of Rehoboth Beach and Michael Murray Padgett of Greenville, S.C., were married Dec. 28, 2013. The couple stunned guests when their engagement party at a private home in Rehoboth Beach suddenly transformed into an intimate wedding ceremony and reception.

Carrie and Murray met in Coronado, Calif., where Murray was stationed with the U.S. Navy and Carrie was training with the U.S. Field Hockey team.

The couple decided to move to back to the East Coast permanently and start their lives together in Sussex County. Not only are they husband and wife now, but Carrie and Murray are also real estate partners. The couple formed the Lingo-Padgett Real Estate Team for Jack Lingo, Realtor and will work together out of the Lewes office.
