Cape Gazette readers Sherry and Tom Hall of Lewes took a 5-week trip during April and May to celebrate their 50th Anniversary; 1 week for every decade of marital bliss.
Some of the places they visited during their travels were Rome, Montepulciano, Herculaneum, Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast, Capri, Soriano nel Cimino (home of the Orsini Castle), Marmore Falls, medieval towns like Narnia in Umbria, Orvieto, the amazing towns of Cinque Terre like Riomaggiore and the list goes on and on.
Along the way, they enjoyed wonderful food and wine as well as afternoon Aperol Spritzes. They walked many miles and climbed countless stairs.
The Halls had a wonderful time celebrating their anniversary and really enjoyed the wonderful Italian people.
