Chef Sabrina Snyder to discuss ‘Dinner then Dessert’ cookbook Sept. 13

September 8, 2021

Sabrina Snyder, known for her ultra-popular food website Dinner then Dessert, will discuss her new cookbook at 5 p.m., Monday, Sept. 13, in a live, online conversation presented by the Lewes Public Library’s Cooks & Books program and Browseabout Books.

In “Dinner Then Dessert: Satisfying Meals Using Only 3, 5, or 7 Ingredients,” Snyder has selected some favorite dishes from her vast trove of recipes, along with new fare to help cooks of all levels produce great meals every family member will love. The flexible, fail-safe recipes include skillet dinners, classic side dishes, slow-cooker recipes, irresistible desserts and more. Filled with full-color photos and easy-to-follow directions, Snyder’s no-nonsense cookbook offers advice on tailoring recipes to different skill levels and utilizing ingredients already on hand, making it easier than ever to create stress-free, practical, mouthwatering meals.

The event will be hosted by Denise Clemons, Cape Gazette food columnist and author of “A Culinary History of Southern Delaware,” and will feature a live cooking demo.

“Drawing inspiration from her successful website, author Sabrina Snyder has assembled a wide-ranging collection of recipes for the home cook looking for menu ideas. I especially like the way she pairs main courses and desserts, making sure the most important part of the meal isn’t overlooked,” said Clemons.

The discussion is free to the public. Registration is required. To sign up, go to lewes.lib.de.us and visit the Virtual Programs for Adults page.
