Children’s Beach House Annual Winter White holiday celebration set Dec. 6

This year’s annual Winter White Holiday Celebration benefitting the Children’s Beach House will be held Friday, Dec. 6, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., at the Children’s Beach House, 1800 Bay Ave. in Lewes.

Event Co-Chairs Dr. Holly Scaro, Elizabeth Sanchez and Christine Bell invite the public to enjoy a Winter White Après Ski Holiday Celebration! Evening festivities, include dinner by Touch of Italy, cocktails, dancing and entertainment by Pamala Stanley and 2nd Time Around, all with a holiday flair! This year’s event will also feature an exclusive Holiday Forest showcasing three Holiday Trees decorated by local designers. 

During the evening guests will have the opportunity to bid on more than 80 silent auction items, offering exciting retail and restaurant gift cards, experiences, gift baskets and more. Several must have live auction items such as a Disney World family vacation, a four-hour pontoon cruise with captain and a golf cart will be auctioned off as well! 

The popular Winter White event has become known as the traditional kick off to the holiday season not to be missed!

Proceeds from the event support Children’s Beach House programs serving at-risk children with communicative disabilities throughout Delaware.  The Youth Development Program includes year-round case management, weekend enrichment programs and summer camp experiences, and is designed to help children overcome the limitations presented by their disabilities. The Margaret H. Rollins Child Development Center provides pre-school and wrap-around services to early childhood learners, ages 3 and 4, preparing them for Kindergarten and beyond. 

Children's Beach House is a Delaware-based 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization that fulfills founder Lydia Chichester du Pont's vision to help children with communicative disabilities and other special needs to be successful in life. To help them reach their highest potential as contributing members of their families and communities.
