Coast Day to be virtual in 2020

University of Delaware’s Coast Day for 2020, slated for Sunday, Oct. 4, will be a virtual event. Organizers announced the move on the event’s website, deseagrant.org, saying, “To share the latest coastal science while protecting our community during the COVID-19 pandemic, we will be hosting Coast Day 2020 as a virtual event.”
While many of the events will transition easily online, such as lectures, events such as seafood cooking demonstrations will be transitioned into prerecorded videos demonstrating a recipe followed by question-and-answer sessions on Coast Day. More details will be posted at deseagrant.org.
