Cody Bristow joins County Bank leadership
County Bank announced Cody Bristow has been named vice president and commercial loan officer, adding to its growing team of banking professionals.
A lifelong Sussex County resident, Bristow brings nearly six years of experience in the financial industry, spanning both the commercial and retail banking sectors. His decision to join County Bank was fueled by a shared mission – to serve, uplift and invest in the community he proudly calls home.
“County Bank has always stood out to me because of its authentic commitment to the people of Sussex County,” said Bristow. “It’s more than a bank; it’s a neighbor, a partner and a champion for local growth. I’m excited to contribute to a place that truly values its roots.”
Valedictorian of his 2008 Laurel High School class, Bristow went on to attend the University of Delaware, where he played Division 1A football and earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration. He later earned his MBA from Wilmington University.
When he’s not working to support the financial well-being of his clients, Bristow enjoys spending time with his wife Hannah, and their daughters Scottie and Eliza. This summer, the couple will celebrate nine years of marriage. Outside the office, Bristow may be found golfing, traveling, training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, or simply enjoying family time around Sussex County.
"We are very excited to have Cody join the County Bank team. His addition reflects our continued commitment to investing in local talent, deepening our community relationships, and supporting the sustained growth of the businesses that are the backbone of our local economy,” said Clay Serman, senior vice president and chief lending officer.
