Coldwell Banker welcomes new realtors
Coldwell Banker Resort Realty recently welcomed Debra Hartney to the firm’s Milford Branch. Hartney launched her real estate career 17 years ago and has specialized in new construction sales since 2000. She looks forward to helping buyers and sellers in Sussex County and Kent County, Fenwick Island to Felton.
Hartney grew up in northern Delaware, and she has been enjoying the salt life since 1989 when her parents built a home in South Bethany. In 2005, Hartney made Bethany Beach her permanent home, and she is excited to share her knowledge and her love of the area. She will help those moving to the area have a pleasant transition. Hartney also has been a certified water aerobics instructor at the Sussex Family YMCA.
Hartney is a member of the Sussex County Association of Realtors, the Delaware Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. She is active in the Milford Chamber of Commerce. She is a graduate of Coastal Carolina University with a BA in sociology and health promotion. “I chose Coldwell Banker Resort Realty for its diversity in locations, but more importantly because of its reputation, integrity, tools and training which will help me exceed my expectations for my clients,” said Hartney. She may be reached in Milford at 302-422-8200.
Joining the firm’s Seaford Branch are Rachael Carey and Roxanne Sprague.
Carey has been in the real estate profession and has worked as a Realtor for over seven years. Carey has experience in the residential, commercial, farm, and property management fields. She enjoys working with both buyers and sellers, and sold over $2.7 million in real estate just last year. She is a top producer and has been recognized as a Five Star Professional. Carey has a paralegal degree from Widener University which gives her added experience when writing and reviewing legal contracts and documents.
She enjoys boating and snow skiing in her spare time. Carey lives in Seaford with her family and pets. She is a member of the Sussex County Association of Realtors, the Delaware Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. Call her to discuss real estate goals at Coldwell Banker Resort Realty in Seaford at 302-629-5575.
Sprague, a realtor for Coldwell Banker Resort Realty in Seaford, has lived in the area for a few years. Originally from New York, where she was born and raised, she has been married for 44 years and has four children and seven grandchildren. She ran her own cleaning business for more than 20 years. She went into real estate with a company called Era Curasi Realty in Montgomery, N.Y., and worked there five years. She also worked with Coldwell Banker Residential in Bethany Beach.
Sprague says she really loves what she does. “I have always like helping people. If it’s selling, buying, listing, any real estate need. I generally just love people. I enjoy the look on their faces when they have bought their new home, or they have sold their home and can move on to a new venture in their life. That’s why I started out cleaning, because of the look on their faces when they walked through the door. It was magical. Then I decided it was time to sell the houses instead of just preparing them for the owner to put them up for sale. I have had other jobs in my lifetime, but this one is one of my favorite,” said Sprague.
Sprague is a member of the Sussex County Association of Realtors, the Delaware Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. She may be reached in Seaford at 302-629-5575.
“We are pleased to continue to attract such quality Realtors with diverse backgrounds to our firm. Hartney, Carey and Sprague possess the qualities we strive for in our company culture of integrity, service, hard work, professional competence, innovation and cooperation,” said Bruce Plummer, broker and chief operating officer.
