Compassion, care shine at Tunnell Cancer Center

August 22, 2025

I will never forget the outstanding treatment and services I received as a lymphoma cancer patient at the Tunnell Cancer Center.

Dr. Desai and his staff were above professional in so many ways. Calls made to them regarding my illness were answered in minutes, easing my mind of worry. The nurses were caring, kind, compassionate, hardworking and always smiling. I noticed a strong sense of teamwork and camaraderie which lifted my spirits.

The volunteer food staff made me very comfortable during my chemo treatments with food, drinks, warm blankets and pillows, often asking me if I needed anything else. The front entrance wheelchair staff were always there for me in all kinds of weather, taking me to the check-in counter and then to the waiting area for my next appointment.

The cleaning staff did a fabulous job cleaning a heavily trafficked center, leaving it clean and shiny.

God bless the Tunnell Cancer Center and its God-sent staff of angels. I will always remember you.
