Concierge medicine is right for us

July 21, 2023

I wish to share another side of concierge medicine for editorial section. My husband and I have been enrolled in this form of medical services for 15 years in three different states (Texas, Maryland and now Delaware) with MDVIP. The benefits are worth the investment in our health.

The fee we pay each year covers a very complete wellness physical with lab work performed at Cleveland Clinic, vision screening, hearing screening, pulmonary testing, electrocardiogram and limb circulation testing. The follow-up is extensive with our doctor to discuss all results and map out a plan to have annual tests set up and address any issues.

Being able to contact my doctor in any emergency is peace of mind, especially if family or friends are visiting and have an issue. They will be seen by our doctor.

By being a member of MDVIP, we have easier access to specialty hospitals like MD Anderson, Mayo, Cleveland Clinic, etc.

We also receive emails with latest medical info, exercise plans, healthy recipes, etc.

Our doctor accepts our medical plan and so all our medical needs are covered with a co-pay.
