Wellness is something that impacts everyone, and Celebrate Wellness invites community members to its 2nd Annual Dilly Dally Cruiser Rally Saturday, Oct. 19, for a relaxed, costumed cruise along the Junction & Breakwater Trail.
It’s a day dedicated to camaraderie, joyriding, and raising funds and awareness for the Celebrate Wellness Program to promote better mental health for area hospitality workers.
The event will begin and end at Schellville near Rehoboth Beach, with registration kicking off at 3:30 p.m., and the guest emcee sending riders off for an easy 3.5-mile trail ride at 4 p.m.
Participants 21 and older may gather after the ride at Schellville’s Wicked Brew Bash, which will feature free beer samples from more than 15 local breweries, live music from 5 to 9 p.m. by Kleptoradio, local food trucks, drinks, an artisan market, Beebe Mobile Health Unit and lots of fall activities. Tickets are available on Eventbrite.
Kathy McDonald, Celebrate Wellness program director, said, “It feels good to give, and that’s what Celebrate Wellness is all about – giving back to our industry and the people it impacts.”
Celebrate Wellness is committed to promoting better mental health for hospitality workers through access to vetted resources, education and financial assistance for professional therapy.
