CRI off base about offshore wind power

November 8, 2019

In the context of the Caesar Rodney Institute’s recent op-ed article on offshore wind farms and the Cape Gazette’s page one news article on the institute’s similar letter to the governor, I urge that the reading public would be interested to know whether the Caesar Rodney Institute takes significant financing from parties affiliated with the fossil fuel industry.

Also, has the UD windmill, which is not 13 miles offshore and which has red aircraft warning lights at night, noticeably affected tourism or passing birds? My guess is that most tourists are unaware of its existence, and that birds have accommodated to it.
