Cruising the Columbia and Snake Rivers with the Cape Gazette

In September, Vicki Edwards and Larry Ferrel of Lewes took UnCruise's seven-night Rivers of Adventure and Wine Cruise, a round trip from Portland, Oregon. They are seen here on one of their stops, in front of the beautiful Multnomah Falls, before heading to see the salmon swimming upstream at Bonneville Dam. This 48-passenger, all-inclusive cruise was a perfect mix of beautiful scenery, Lewis and Clark history, and outstanding wine and gourmet food. With stops in Astoria, Fort Clatsop, Hood River Valley, Walla Walla, Columbia Hills, and The Dalles, they enjoyed a variety of onshore activities during the day and onboard fun in the evenings. At the end of the cruise, Vicki and Larry stayed several extra days in Portland, exploring Willamette Valley wineries, local breweries, and the Oregon Coast.
