Thank you, David Button. Year after year, Clear Space continued to feature its very own local performers. What I am particularly impressed with is the young performers who have come through David’s classes of Broadway Bound, Summer Intensives, Spotlight on Young Performers and now Babies On Broadway. Children from 3 years old through high school graduates can participate.
We have watched multiple students start with David, get excellent roles with Clear Space, then continue on to college for performing arts degrees and make it on the stage. Those who immediately come to mind are Katharine, Hannah, Gavin and Julia!
And now a whole new group is on stage in both the summer shows and Spotlight programs.
This doesn’t even address the talented young performers he selected from about 200 auditions in New York City and brought to the beach to perform over the summer season. Many of these students are in all three shows! Season after season, David managed to pull together the impossible.
David, I cannot imagine the number of performers in whose careers you have had a role. Thank you!
