Delaware FOP Lodge 2 makes Christmas brighter for local kids

With hearts full of generosity and compassion, the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 2 orchestrated a special toy drive and delivery event that spread smiles and cheer to families in need this holiday season, culminating in a convoy of emergency vehicles to delivery gifts.

Event coordinator Robert Schappert expressed his gratitude toward everyone involved. The FOP worked with the Lewes, Millsboro, Indian River, and Milton fire departments, along with the Milton Police Department and Delaware State Police Troop 7. Sussex County District 3 Councilman Mark G. Schaeffer also participated. 

The commitment of the FOP and others to serving the community extends far beyond daily duties, showcasing dedication to fostering a stronger, more compassionate society. The efforts serve as a beacon of hope and solidarity during a time when spreading kindness and joy is more important than ever.
