Delaware GOP leader Cathy Watts nominated for national award

Her goal is to inspire conservative women to get involved

At the National Federation of Republican Women’s 40th Biennial Convention, Cathy Watts of Milton was one of five outstanding state federation presidents honored as finalists for the Ronald Reagan Leadership Award.

The prestigious award honors a federation president who has provided extraordinary leadership to her stat  and to the National Federation of Republican Women.

Watts, president of the Delaware Federation of Republican Women, is passionate about party goals and is always ready to volunteer.

As DFRW president, she serves on the executive committee for the Delaware GOP and is the past president of the Sussex County Republican Women’s Club. Watts brings invaluable political expertise to the table. With more than 25 years of experience, she has worked for legislators and governors in a variety of roles in multiple states.

“I am honored to be among the five nominees who do what I do on a much larger scale. It was a privilege to represent my State of Delaware at this 40th biennial convention in Indianapolis. My goal is to continue to inspire conservative women to get involved in the political process to take us to victory in 2020,” said Watts.
