Delaware Tech Owens Hall of Fame induction set for March 16

Delaware Tech Owens Campus annually inducts a former employee into its Hall of Fame in honor of the employee’s dedication and outstanding service to the college.

Richard L. Windsor of Lewes and longtime resident of Seaford will be inducted posthumously into the Owens Campus Hall of Fame at 2 p.m., Friday, March 16. The ceremony will be held in the Student Services Center.

In 1970, Windsor became the first graduate of Delaware Tech to be hired in a full-time professional position. During his 33-year tenure with the college, he held various positions, including financial aid officer, assistant registrar, internal auditor for the Office of the President, registrar and assistant business manager.

Windsor is remembered for his devotion and commitment to the college. Highly esteemed by his colleagues, he was constantly dedicated to helping students succeed.

Special remarks will be given at the ceremony by Paul M.N. Selby and H. Terry Johnson, both former deans of student services and longtime friends and coworkers of Windsor.
