Delmarva Broadcasting Company announces lineup for talk radio Delaware 105.9
Delmarva Broadcasting Company, recognized as Delaware’s leading electronic news provider, has announced more details about the upcoming weekday local lineup for Delaware’s newest talk radio station, Delaware 105.9, serving southern Delaware’s Sussex and Kent counties.
The station will commence operations Tuesday, Sept. 4, featuring a blend of local, regional, national and international news coverage presented hourly; Delaware’s own Trafficwatch coverage and weather updated several times per hour; and entertaining, informative and provocative talk anchored by Delmarva’s signature talk host Dan Gaffney, who will be joined by respected local and national hosts in a presentation that is unique in the region.
Susan Monday will host a local talk show on Delaware 105.9 expanding the diversity of talk radio with a blend of news, charm and local focus. Monday has been a news anchor and radio personality in Philadelphia; Washington, D.C.; and surrounding areas. Local talk show host Jared Morris will bring his caller-driven local talk radio program to Delaware 105.9. “I'm excited to be working for such a well-respected local radio company,” Morris said. “Delaware 105.9 will be the place where local lives.”

One of Delaware's most respected broadcasters, Delaware radio mainstay Allan Loudell, brings his "Delaware News Hour" to Delaware 105.9. The "Delaware News at Noon" features a statewide focus, interviews and the leadership of the award-winning Loudell, who brings his 25 years of local broadcasting experience to Delaware 105.9 and to the stories that matter most to the community.
Rounding out the expanded local news coverage, Delaware 105.9 welcomes Delaware journalist and veteran local news broadcaster Mark Fowser as news director. Fowser will head up a local news team committed to serving southern Delaware.
In addition to the local lineup, Delaware 105.9 will feature a diverse group of some of the nation's most entertaining and engaging national radio programs.
Dave Ramsey, a man who has been described as “one of the most popular financial gurus in America,” will host "The Dave Ramsey Show" from 7 to 10 p.m. His program is a mix of financial advice, life advice and social talk.
Jim Bohannon ushers in the night with “The Jim Bohannon Show” from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Bohannon talks to guests and loyal callers about current events, politics, news and pop culture.
Staying awake late, Jon Grayson hosts "America Overnight" from 1 to 5:30 a.m.
