Delmarva Christian boys drop the Jags 67-28

December 15, 2025

The Delmarva Christian boys’ basketball team scored the first 19 points of the game against Salisbury Christian Dec. 13, then cruised to a 67-28 ESIAC victory.

Freshman point guard Aarian Tucker hit a game-high 18 points, two from behind the three-point line, and dished off five assists.

“Aarian is amazing for his age,” said Royals coach Pat Woods. ”He will be a special player. He is fearless, sees the court and is ultra competitive.”

Juniors Noah Barbrow and Landon Jackson teamed for 21 points, six rebounds and six steals. Senior forward Andrew Collins and sophomore Asher Woods scored six points each, with Woods getting five helpers.

The Royals finished the first quarter 22-5 and went into the locker room with a 41-11 halftime lead. The third stanza ended 61-22, and the Royals ran the clock in the fourth for the 67-28 final score.

But even though it was a dominating performance for the Royals, Woods was able to look for teaching points in the game.

“We got to work on some of our defensive calls that we hadn’t spent much time on,” Woods said. “And we shared the ball really well, tallying 19 assists on 26 field goals. The team is selfless and hungry for success. Above all, they want to display the gifts God has given them and support each other.”
