Delmarva Christian High School holds commencement

June 12, 2022

Delmarva Christian High School celebrated its 18th commencement May 27, with 38 seniors receiving diplomas in the Delmarva Christian Arts and Athletic Center in Georgetown.

The program featured a musical performance by graduating members of Royals Worship; remarks from National Honor Society President Gavin Catron, Salutatorian Taylor Dukes, Valedictorian Isabelle Donihue and Head of School Matt Kwiatkowski; and a special message from Pastor Marc Hannah.

The Royal Service Award, which included a plaque and $500 scholarship, was presented to Isabelle Donihue. The award recognizes the student who has most consistently demonstrated a positive Christian witness and has exceeded all community-service requirements. The staff chooses each annual recipient.

The Royal of the Year Award and accompanying $500 scholarship was presented to Trey Magee. The award is given to graduating seniors who best exemplify the mission of Delmarva Christian Schools, to proclaim the gospel by preparing students spiritually, academically and physically to know and do God’s will in their lives.
