Delmarva More Than Pink Walk steps out virtually Oct. 11

Susan G. Komen Maryland announced that its annual fundraising event, the Komen Maryland More Than Pink Walk, will be held virtually due to COVID-19. This year, Komen will host a variety of engaging online events while encouraging participants to walk where they are Sunday, Oct. 11.

Rather than coming together in person on the boardwalk in Ocean City, Md., participants can log miles in their own neighborhood, in a park, on the beach or even indoors on a treadmill, to support women and men facing breast cancer. Walkers, runners, breast cancer survivors, family members and supporters all can register free at komenmd.org/marylandwalk.

All who raise a minimum of $100 will receive a commemorative event T-shirt by mail. All survivors will receive a special T-shirt by mail.
