Disappointing loss for Philadelphia Eagles

October 18, 2019

Last Sunday, the Eagles just simply did not show up against the Minnesota Vikings. The defense was terrible for the entire game. The offense only played well in the second quarter, to make the game close at halftime. The final score was 38-20, and it wasn’t even that close.

I was hoping the Eagles would be able to trade for cornerback Jalen Ramsey, from the Jacksonville Jaguars, to help the struggling defense, but the Los Angeles Rams got him instead.

The team better wake up fast if they want to beat the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night football this week. If the Eagles lose this game, they should not listen to talk radio in Philadelphia for the rest of the season.

They will not like what they would hear.

In baseball, the Washington Nationals have advanced to the World Series. They swept the St. Louis Cardinals in four games. Their pitching carried them to the National League pennant. I don’t know whether they can beat either Houston or New York.

The World Series will start October 24. I have thought from the beginning of the season that the American League has had the better teams. I will be cheering for one of them to win.
