Dogfish Head hosts Weekend of Compelling Ales and Spirits

One of the beers on tap was Dogfish Head’s new collaboration beer with the Grateful Dead, a juicy pale ale. Part of the station included selections from the Grateful Dead released on Record Store Day, of which Dogfish Head has been a longtime supporter.

Dogfish Head in Milton held its annual Weekend of Compelling Ales and Spirits March 22, as visitors were able to try experimental Dogfish brews and mixed concoctions paired with specialty finger foods.

As has become custom in recent years, the event was an opportunity to tour Dogfish’s entire brewing and distilling operations. Visitors started the tour in the brewery’s packaging facility before moving to the main building, starting at the distillery, working through the brewhouse, and ending at the tasting room. Along the way were stations for pictures, games and relaxation.
