Dorothy Ann Keating, enjoyed the beach, traveling
Dorothy Ann “Dee” Keating, 78, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Pleasant View Healthcare Center, Mount Airy, Md. She was the life partner/widow of Robert G. “Bob” Keating II. They shared over 30 years together.
Born in Wilmington, she was the daughter of Leo H. Gleasner II and the former Dorothy A. Jablonski. She earned her GED and attended classes for credit at University of Delaware. Dee worked as a custodian at the University of Delaware, tirelessly scrubbing floors to put her daughter through college—a testament to her unwavering commitment. But that is another story.
She was a Parrot Head who enjoyed road trips, going to the beach, watching Matt Avery at Conch Island, and visiting Harrington Raceway & Casino with her friend, Marcia. She also loved dining outdoors at J&P’s in Mount Airy with her daughter and granddog. She will be remembered for her feistiness.
Dee is survived by her daughter, Tina Hahn; family friend, Eric Kindahl; and granddog, Dany.
She was predeceased by her life partner, Robert G. “Bob” Keating II; her parents, Leo H. Gleasner II and the former Dorothy Ann Jablonski; her brother, Leo H. Gleasner III; her brother, Michael Gleasner; her brother, John F. Gleasner; and her sister, Carol Gleasner.
