Dr. Abha Gupta joins TidalHealth OB/GYN in Seaford
TidalHealth recently announced Abha Gupta, MD, has joined TidalHealth OB/GYN in Seaford.
Gupta has lived and worked in Sussex County since 2005, providing obstetrical and gynecological care for more than 17 years.
Board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Gupta graduated from Punjab University, Christian Medical College in Punjab, India. She trained as an OB/GYN physician and was an assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology prior to moving to the United States.
After earning a master of public health degree at the Medical College of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University, Gupta completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark (now part of Rutgers). While there, she served as a chief resident and received numerous awards.
Gupta is experienced in routine and high-risk pregnancies, adolescent gynecology, gynecological surgery and procedures, infertility, urinary incontinence, minimally invasive surgery and the latest in contraceptive techniques. Her professional memberships include the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, as well as the American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopists.
