Drago should accept primary vote results

October 20, 2020

Patti Drago is a glowing example of how some people today refuse to accept results of an election. She was a supporter of IG Burton who lost in the recent primary election.

She initially wanted Mr. Burton to run as a write-in candidate. Mr. Burton declined the invite because he’s an honorable man and accepted the results of the election.

Patti Drago refused to accept who voters in her district wanted to represent them, so she decided at last minute to be a write-in candidate. I’m sure she has her supporters but if she really wanted to be representative for the district she should have run in the primary.

It’s a shame when people cannot accept results of election. Every election, someone wins and someone loses.  We never always get what we want but for most part everyone accepts election results. Wonder how Patti will accept elections results if she loses.
