Dream Art Studio brings partner David Heitur

September 1, 2021

Dream Art Studio, founded in 2015 in Wilmington, has brought on David Heitur, noted photographer specializing in portraiture and weddings, as a partner.

During the past year, Heitur has steadily increased his visual media experience, serving primarily as a real estate videographer at a time when in-person events were mostly canceled due to the pandemic.

Dream Art Studio specializes in artful photography and videography of weddings, maternity photo shoots, holidays and professional headshots. They create dynamic visual media across multiple platforms, working with clients in New Castle, Kent, and Sussex counties.

“David has been collaborating with us for a number of years and as we continue to expand, we needed him more and more,” said Pedro Escárcega, founder and owner of Dream Art Studio. “Instead of just increasing our projects together, we talked and decided it was best to bring him on as a partner so that he has ownership in the company and in the productions we do.”

Escárcega started the Delaware business after attending school in Mexico City and finding his passion for visual arts. His passion lies in honing the art and craft of visual storytelling to produce videos with cinematographic elements.

Heitur is a Delaware portrait and wedding photographer. He specializes in artistic and creative portraiture and professional headshots. He is also one of the top real estate photographers and videographers in the area. He brings to his photo shoots a unique appreciation for lighting blended with art studies.

“I couldn’t be more honored to come on as a partner with Dream Art Studio because they’re a company that I believe in. They’ve been providing quality visual media for Wilmington and the surrounding region at a level that no one here can really match, and so I am grateful to join that tradition,” Heitur said.

Escárcega said Dream Art Studio offers photographic events throughout the year. One of its largest is holiday photography sessions featuring intricate and dramatic backdrops. Several hundred families sign up to have their photos taken with Dream Art Studio each year, he said.

Dream Art Studio includes a team of four across the main company and its three subsidiaries, Mangos Marketing, Yummy Sessions, and Dream Art Music.

The business has been featured by AARP magazine and Al Dia News.
