Drive-thru mobile food pantry set Dec. 11 in Georgetown

The Food Bank of Delaware will hold a drive-thru mobile pantry distribution at 10 a.m., Monday, Dec. 11, at Crossroad Community Church, 20684 State Forest Road, Georgetown for families facing food insecurity. Participants should make sure their trunks or back seats are cleared out so volunteers can load food.

To help speed up the check-in process, preregistration is requested but does not guarantee service. On-site registration will also be available. Service will be first-come, first-served. Assistance is limited to one per household. Attendees must be present to receive assistance. Recipients must bring proof that they live in Delaware. A state-issued ID, utility bill or Delaware SNAP benefits card can all be used to show proof of residency.
