East Coast Garden Center children’s area to reopen May 20

East Coast Garden Center in Millsboro will reopen its children's garden with new and improved features Saturday, May 20. This coincides with Tropical Day at East Coast where the store is offering 10 percent off everything.

At 10 a.m., Florida native Sandy Lichauer will give a free class about tropical plants. At 11 a.m., the Mr. McGregor Puppet Show will tell the tale of Peter Rabbit. 

There will be free hotdogs, juice boxes, steel drum music and surprises for moms. Kids will receive a free juice box and aloe plant, in addition to all the fun features of the garden including a playground, gem mine, sound garden, misting station, butterfly habitat and crafts.
