East Coast Indoor Farmers Market to keep going strong through April
The Indoor Farmers Market at East Coast Garden Center is enduring the winter, and its organizers look forward to the next three months. For some, finding local produce and places to buy from local growers can be difficult in the winter time. The Indoor Farmers Market is a great place for produce shoppers to find what they need.
The market will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. every Tuesday through April 25 at East Coast Garden Center’s event facility, The Cordrey Center. Shoppers can extend their farmers market enjoyment through the winter by visiting local growers, chefs, bakers and more at the indoor market.
Some of the vendors include Backyard Jams and Jellies, Fresh Harvest Hydroponics, Lavender Fields, The Point Coffeehouse and Bake Shoppe, Stag Run Farm, Sugar Spice and Everything Nice, Pat Hochmuth Farms, Maiale Deli and Salumeria, Alaska Wild Seafood, T. A. Farms, Davidson Mushrooms, Reid Angus Beef, Pickled Pig Pub, Eastern Shore Kettle Korn and Chinky Salt Oyster Co. Along with the vendors the market may include demonstrations, music, classes and more.
The Cordrey Center is at 30366 Cordrey Road, Millsboro. For more information or the inclement weather policy call 302-945-3489 or go to www.eastcoastgardencenter.com.
