Averie, a rescue chihuahua, was born with a terminal condition known as hydrocephalus and is in need of lifesaving surgery. In an effort to finance this procedure, we’ve asked family, friends and our community to help raise funds.
Saying we are grateful for the love felt last Saturday at the Help Save Averie Fundraiser would be an understatement. We are sincerely humbled by the generosity of those who helped organize the event; participated in hosting, entertainment and activities; to all the business owners who kindly donated raffle prizes; and, most of all, to the attendees who donated toward the cause.
Special thanks to: Revelation Beer Garden at Hudson Fields (venue), Michael Buie (graphic designer), Carey Pauley (The Pink Turtle), Robert DiGiacomo (Dew-Me Beach Store), Lisa Karram Kuhn (Color Street), Michael W. Dangerfield (Zogg’s Restaurant Group), Timothy Lessa (gift basket), Concord Pet Foods & Supplies, PetSmart, Sandy and Stevie D. (live music), Marsha Lebo (host), Chris Ryan (host), W. Mark Kirby (host), Megan Jewell (host/face painting) and Joyce Kelly (host).
