Eleanor E. Blades Littleton, Stockley retiree

Eleanor E. Blades Littleton, 84, of Laurel passed away Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018 at her home.  

She was born in East New Market, Md., July 3, 1934, to the late Herry Blades and Blanch Hurley Blades Littleton.  She worked at the Stockley Center for years before retiring to raise her family.  She was a hard working woman who loved spending time with her family and friends.  She was married to the late Ernest S. Littleton for 64 years, and together they raised nine children.

She is survived by six children: Ernest Jr. and his wife Barbara Littleton, Bonnie Hughes and husband George, Arthur Littleton, Evelyn O’neal and husband DD,  Mary Whaley and her husband Adrian,  and Arlie Littleton and his wife Barb; sons-in-law Jesse Burks and  Arnold Huffman; and two sisters-in-laws: Alice Littleton and Hilda Robbins. She has 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Ernest who preceded her, she was also preceded by three children: Barbara Huffman, Roger Littleton and Peggy Littleton.  She was also preceded by a daughter-in-law: Lisa Littleton; a great-granddaughter, Raylin Huffman; and a great-grandson: Christopher Bacon.

Services and Interment are private at St. Georges Cemetery, Clarksville.
