Enjoying the High Atlas Mountains with the Cape Gazette

October 26, 2022

These devoted Cape Gazette readers of Lewes recently experienced a glorious, 17-day Road Scholar tour of Morocco, which included Fez, Marrakech, Chefchaoun, and a night in the desert. Shown from (l-r) are Stephen Seeling, Jerri Williams and Carolyn Seeling while visiting the High Atlas Mountains. The saw-toothed Jurassic peaks of the mountains act as a weather barrier between the mild, Mediterranean climate to the north and the encroaching Sahara to the south.
