Episcopal Church in Milton welcomes new priest-in-charge

March 20, 2026

The Episcopal Church of St. John the Baptist in Milton recently welcomed the Rev. Terrence O’Connor Jr. as its priest-in-charge.

Before accepting the call at St. John the Baptist, O’Connor spent 27 years as a school administrator and educator in Galloway, N.J., and 10 years as priest-in-charge at the Church of St. Mark & All Saints in Galloway.

O’Connor is also a professed brother in the Community of Francis and Clare, a contemporary vowed community of religious women and men who live a common life of prayer and service within the Episcopal Church, its Communion partners and the worldwide Anglican Communion. In 2022, the Community of Francis and Clare received full canonical recognition from the House of Bishops of the Episcopal Church.

O’Connor said he is excited to be part of a faith community where all are welcome, and he invites everyone to learn more about the parish and its many activities.

The church holds a weekly worship service at 10 a.m. each Sunday at 307 Federal St., Milton.
