Epworth preschoolers perform Christmas program

The sanctuary at Epworth United Methodist Church in Rehoboth Beach was alive with holiday songs Dec. 19, courtesy of ducklings, turtles, bumblebees, owls, starfish and pelicans.
Those were the group names of preschoolers who performed their annual Christmas program.
The morning began with a welcome from Betsy Plowman, Epworth preschool director, and a blessing from Gwen Osborne.
Then the music took over.
The 3- to 4-year-olds sang traditional tunes like “Jingle Bells,” “Holly Jolly Christmas” and “Rockabye Jesus.”
Parents, grandparents and other family members filled the aisles and pews, jockeying for position to get video and pictures of their young ones on stage in their holiday finest.
