Erica Ives and David Moody plan 2015 wedding

Kathleen Charney Ives of New Port Richey, Fla., announces the engagement of her daughter, Erica Suzanne, to David Adams Moody, son of Robert and Christine Moody of Gadsden, Ala.

Ives is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas John Charney of Alexandria, Va. She is a 2006 graduate of Atlee High School in Mechanicsville, Va., and received a bachelor of fine arts degree magna cum laude from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2009. She is employed by the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Fla., as an entertainment technician scheduler for Disney Hollywood Studios and ESPN Wide World of Sports.

Moody is the grandson of the late Richard and Dorothy Adams of Gadsden, and the late Richard and Ruby Moody of Camden, Maine. David is a 2006 graduate of Langley High School in McLean, Va. He received a bachelor of arts degree with honors from The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Va., in 2010 and a master of arts in arts administration from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2012. He is employed by Walt Disney Parks and Resorts in Orlando, Fla., as an associate database analyst.

The wedding will be May 1, 2015, in Orlando, Fla.
