Esther Anne McLucas, loved life to fullest

Esther Anne McLucas, 69, of Long Neck passed away peacefully Sunday, Sept. 1, 2019, at her home.  

She was the beloved wife of Robert J. McLucas Jr. with whom she shared 50+ years of marriage.  Born and raised in Coatesville, Pa., she was the daughter of Mary Kryworuka Boros and the late John (Buxie) Boros.  

Esther graduated from Scott High School in Coatesville.  She retired in 2010 from Krapf Buses where she was a school bus driver.  Esther loved life to the fullest.  She enjoyed garage sales, fishing, boating and spending time with her family.  Her most recent accomplishment was the Ocean City, Md. Tuna Fishing Tournament in July 2019.  

Esther was a wonderful wife and mother to many.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.  

In addition to her husband and mother, Esther is survived by her children, Michelle Grillo (Tom) and Robert McLucas III (Jessica), as well as a sister, Irene McNutt, all of Pennsylvania. 

A memorial service will be held at noon, Friday, Sept. 6, at Melson Funeral Services, 32013 Long Neck Road, Millsboro, where friends and family will be received from 11 a.m. to noon.  Interment will be private.
