Evelyn Ann Jones, devoted to family

Evelyn Ann Jones, 88, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2025, in Rehoboth Beach. Born March 15, 1937, in London, England, Evelyn spent her early years in London before moving to the U.S., where she built a beautiful life centered around family, creativity, and care.

A devoted wife, mother, and homemaker, Evelyn found joy in the traditional arts—sewing, knitting, and painting—and shared her passion generously with those around her. Her creativity and gentle spirit brought warmth to every home she touched.

Evelyn is survived by her son, Rick Jones; her daughter and son-in-law, Joni and Bob Mahon, and their children Ashley, Chelsea, and Brendan Mahon and his wife Erika; her great-grandchildren, Peyton and Parker Mahon; her daughter and son-in-law, Eva and Phillip Zubicki; and her beloved grandchildren, Bryce and Connor Zubicki.

Evelyn will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and artistic spirit. She took great pride in her family, who were the center of her world, and her legacy lives on through their love and cherished memories.
